Barre - Fusion
Barre Fusion is a combination of all 3 styles of Barre classes taught by Gabi. This combination is class is perfect for a Saturday morning!
Low & Slow Yin
A class of deep stretching and long holds, poses held allowing the muscles to relax and the stretch to move deep into the connective and joints. Restorative poses are added to compliment these deep stretches by calming the nervous system. Offering maximum benefit to the mind and breath in these moments of stillness. All levels. Also great for beginners or anyone curious to try yoga. *please have a blanket or two available for this class.
Practices for Your Mind
The focus of this class is to activate your parasympathetic nervous system so you can let go of the day and deeply relax. Yoga has a variety of practices that work directly on our nervous system, including longer guided Shavasanas, guided visualizations, breathing practices and meditations. Each class will include a long practice, a briefer practice and an inspiring quote. Set up by a couch, armchair, ottoman and chair without arms (folding chair is great!) with a a couple of blankets.
Do you need help relaxing through this home bound time? Are you having trouble with sleep or anxiety? This evening class is designed to quiet your mind and your body so your sleep can be more restorative and healing. Yoga practice includes gentle, restorative-style postures, guided Shavasana and breathing practices that quiet your nervous system.
This class offers deep relaxation, meditation and renewal of the body’s energy. It consists of passive poses that focus on the breath to release unnecessary tension in the body and mind. This gentle class involves the use of props to enter a deeper relaxation and rejuvenation. Appropriate for all levels. *please have a blanket or two and a pillow for this class.
Stretch & Release
This class will consist of basic and gentle movement to stretch and expand the muscles in way that will release tensions and stress. A slow paced class to calm the mind and balance the body.
Vinyasa Level 2
Vinyasa Level 2 classes provide a comfortable and fun setting for a challenging and invigorating yoga practice. With its roots in the ashtanga primary series, the Vinyasa class invites students to unite their bodies, minds, and hearts through asana (poses), pranayama (breath), pratyahara (removal of the senses), and other aspects of the eight limb practice. Come work your deepest muscles to stretch, twist, and strengthen yourself without limit. The class is designed to challenge all levels of practitioners, with pose modifications provided. The goal of every class is for students to leave feeling strong, peaceful, and refreshed.
Yin-Yasa is combination of two of our most favorite practices, Yin and Gentle Vinyasa. The first part of the class will be gentle Yin poses held to deepen the stretch and focus on the connective tissue and joints. The second portion of class will consist of gentle movement and stretching to open up and move the good energy and balance created in those Yin poses. This class is gentle and basic, good for the mind, body & soul. *please have a blanket available for this class.
Yoga for a Monday & Wednesday Morning
Whether you need some recovery time from your weekend warrior activities or just want to ease your way into your week, you will find comfort in this gentle, laid back class. Moving through traditional postures and flow, you can reset and reconnect with this grounding, centering practice.
Off-Site Class Offerings
Yoga on the Deck - Paul Smith's College VIC
(June 30 - September 10, 2020)
An outdoor yoga class adds a different dimension to one's practice. Union with nature, humanity and the universe is truly felt, intensifying the experience. Participate in Sun Salutations while actually reaching for the sun. Enjoy a stunning playlist courtesy of the birds and the breeze. Feel rooted while holding tree pose in the forest. Classes will begin Tuesday, June 30 and conclude on Thursday, September 10. Yoga on the Deck takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15am-10:15am, rain or shine, as there is alternative practice space inside. No advanced notice required, simply drop-in and practice. Our Classes and The Atmosphere
All classes are mixed levels unless otherwise stated. Beginners are welcome in any class. We aim to provide an environment that is welcoming to students of all levels. Please know that props, mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets are available free of charge to any attendee for all of our classes.

Private sessions are available as an option to get started on a personal practice, to help with healing from injury, or to work on specific poses.
