Barre - Gentle
Gentle Barre is an exercise class to increase range of motion, maintain balance, enjoy ease of movement, and develop long, lean muscles. With music in the background, the Barre is a tool on which to lean, stretch, hold, balance and turn with stability. Isolate muscles and movements in order to gain strength and power. Effort--not strain--will elicit gain.
Barre - Fusion
Barre Fusion is a combination of all 3 styles of Barre classes taught by Gabi. This combination is class is perfect for a Saturday morning!
Barre - Total Body
Total Body Barre combines attributes of Pilates, dance, and functional fitness training. We incorporate small isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, large range of motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates upper and lower body to make every minute count. This results in a total body workout that leaves you mentally strong and feeling accomplished.
Barre - Traditional
Traditional Barre combines Pilates, strength training, and ballet poses to sculpt and tone your small hard to reach muscles. You'll work your entire body in isolated sections with stretching in between.
This class focuses on learning the basics of Jiu Jitsu, and students will begin to learn the reality of martial arts in their very first class. There is no punching or kicking, so there is no need to fear getting hit, further more each student will choose their own level of involvement and effort. You can be at any physical level to be able to participate in this class. Through training techniques students will burn fat, increase strength, cardio and flexibility; but also their minds will receive the best workout of all. As in a yoga practice Jiu Jitsu teaches a student to control posture, breathing, and movement on the mat and in life.

Every Body Yoga
This practice is authentically yours. We begin with a seated centering of our bodies and minds. Then, we move to a series of physical poses and play with our openness and strength. A deep, relaxing stillness closes class. You can feel free to arrive late, leave early, bring a journal, wear a onesie, follow along, or experience your own Way! Whoever you are, and wherever you find yourself on this journey, you can feel free to express that here. And this class is only $5.00!
Kripalu Yoga is a vinyasa style approach to asana practice that emphasizes meditation and breath-work and encourages inward focus and spiritual attunement. Basic Principle: Practicing Kripalu Yoga can initiate a gradual process of physical healing, psychological growth, and spiritual awakening
Low & Slow Yin
A class of deep stretching and long holds, poses held allowing the muscles to relax and the stretch to move deep into the connective and joints. Restorative poses are added to compliment these deep stretches by calming the nervous system. Offering maximum benefit to the mind and breath in these moments of stillness. All levels. Also great for beginners or anyone curious to try yoga.
This class offers deep relaxation, meditation and renewal of the body’s energy. It consists of passive poses that focus on the breath to release unnecessary tension in the body and mind. This gentle class involves the use of props to enter a deeper relaxation and rejuvenation. Appropriate for all levels.
Simply put, round robin is about 'taking turns.' Every Saturday one of our teachers or guest teachers will take a turn to facilitate the class. That means you may experience a vinyasa flow, a yin practice, restorative poses, gentle barre or some other surprise. This is a practice in being present, open, and curious to the experience.
Vinyasa Level 2
Vinyasa Level 2 classes provide a comfortable and fun setting for a challenging and invigorating yoga practice. With its roots in the ashtanga primary series, the Vinyasa class invites students to unite their bodies, minds, and hearts through asana (poses), pranayama (breath), pratyahara (removal of the senses), and other aspects of the eight limb practice. Come work your deepest muscles to stretch, twist, and strengthen yourself without limit. The class is designed to challenge all levels of practitioners, with pose modifications provided. The goal of every class is for students to leave feeling strong, peaceful, and refreshed.
Yoga for a Monday & Wednesday Morning
Whether you need some recovery time from your weekend warrior activities or just want to ease your way into your week, you will find comfort in this gentle, laid back class. Moving through traditional postures and flow, you can reset and reconnect with this grounding, centering practice.
Off-Site Class Offerings
Asana & Ales at Hex & Hop Brewing
10:00-11:00am on Sundays - Join us for a gentle all levels flow in this unique environment. Classes are $15 for a drop-in or use your existing Earthshine pass to attend. Please bring your own mat. Yoga on the Deck - Paul Smith's College VIC
(June 25 - September 5)
An outdoor yoga class adds a different dimension to one's practice. Union with nature, humanity and the universe is truly felt, intensifying the experience. Participate in Sun Salutations while actually reaching for the sun. Enjoy a stunning playlist courtesy of the birds and the breeze. Feel rooted while holding tree pose in the forest. Classes will begin Tuesday, June 25 and conclude on Thursday, September 5. Yoga on the Deck takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-10:15am, rain or shine, as there is alternative practice space inside. No advanced notice required, simply drop-in and practice. Classes can be paid for by cash, check, credit card, or with an existing class pass through the studio. This series is led by Jackie Foster and she can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Classes and The Atmosphere
All classes are mixed levels unless otherwise stated. Beginners are welcome in any class. We aim to provide an environment that is welcoming to students of all levels. Please know that props, mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets are available free of charge to any attendee for all of our classes.

Private sessions are available as an option to get started on a personal practice, to help with healing from injury, or to work on specific poses.
